TV Christmas

Make sure you are a part of what is happening at Refuge this month. The sermons are TV Christmas. Think of the shows you grew up with on TV that made you think of Christmas. “The Grinch”, “Charlie Brown”, “Rudolph”, “Little Drummer Boy”, and last but not least “Ralphie and Ole Blue”. I can’t wait to share these with you.

For instance, this week we are dealing with four grinches that can steal Christmas from us or we can team up with and steal Christmas from those around us. Next week we’ll be talking about all those ‘Happy, Singing, Smiling, Almost Annoying Bubbles of Joy that the rest of the year are pretty normal.” The final week is all about “the Gift” of Christmas. The funny thing is it really doesn’t have a lot to do with a manger, shepherds or even the Baby Jesus. Songs, skits, videos and the whole nine yards. Gonna be fun. Gonna make you think. But most of all gonna make you examine how and why you celebrate Christmas.
